2.1 Customer account

For each customer who registers on our website using the "Create Account" function, we set up a customer account, i.e. a password-protected direct access to the user's basic data stored with us. Here, the user can, among other things, view his or her completed, pending and recently dispatched orders or manage his or her personal data and newsletter.

2.1.1 Creating a customer account

When registering a customer account, it is mandatory to provide the following data (required information):

  • e-mail

  • consent to the provisions on data protection and the right of withdrawal.

The billing address and delivery address must only be provided when the order is placed. We need your correct name, address and payment details in order to process your order. We need your e-mail address so that we can confirm receipt of your order and its dispatch, as well as for communication with you in general. In addition, we use the user's e-mail

2.1.2. Use of a customer account

Users can use their customer account to check their past orders, subscribe or unsubscribe from the newsletter, check the status of their payments or make a complaint.

2.2 Collection, processing and use of your personal data

We collect, save and process user data in the context of purchase processing, for technical administration, for our own marketing purposes (see section 2.3 for more on this) and for the prevention of criminal acts and fraud. We only pass on your personal data to third parties if this is permitted by law, including for contractual or billing purposes, for marketing purposes or with your prior consent. For example, in the context of order processing, the service providers cooperating with us (e.g. haulier, logistics company, banks) receive the necessary data in order to process your order and order. The service providers may only use the data transmitted in this way for the purpose of fulfilling their task.

2.3 Use of user data for advertising purposes

In addition to the processing of your data as part of the purchase service at roslinydomowe.co.uk, we also use your data for the following purposes: to continuously optimise your shopping experience within the framework of a customer-friendly and personalised offer; to be able to contact you in connection with orders and specific products and marketing campaigns; and to recommend products or services that may be of interest to you.

We use the information we obtain for this purpose, for example, confirmation of receipt and reading of emails, information about your terminal device, internet connection, operating system and platform, date and time of your visit to the site or products viewed, and information we obtain from you (including information provided automatically or generated). In addition, we also use your order history.

You may object at any time to the use of your personal data for advertising purposes in its entirety or in respect of individual activities, without being charged in addition to the cost of providing the information at the basic tariff. For this purpose, a notification in text form to the contact details mentioned under point 1 (e.g. e-mail, letter) is sufficient.

2.3.1 Newsletter

We use the e-mail address provided by the user to send the newsletter. The user's confirmation of consent to receive the newsletter as owner of the e-mail address is required here.

If the user would like to unsubscribe from the newsletter, he/she can cancel his/her consent at any time without incurring any costs apart from the cost of forwarding the information at the basic tariff. For this purpose, a notification in text form to the contact details mentioned under point 1 (e.g. e-mail, letter) is sufficient. Of course, an unsubscribe link is available in each newsletter.

2.3.2 Banner advertising

We also use the data collected during a user's visit to display so-called banner advertisements. These are advertisements that redirect to the plumeria.sklep.pl website from third-party websites. This advertising generally uses cookies or pixels. Our aim is to develop an advertising offer which will be attractive and useful for the user, which is why within the scope of banner advertising the user may see mainly products which he/she has already viewed on our website or products similar to those he/she has viewed before (the so-called retargeting). Within the scope of banner advertising, we only use pseudonymised data; direct information about the user (e.g. name or email address) is not stored in cookies.

More information on cookies, pixels and retargeting is provided in sections 3 and 6 of this policy.

3. Cookies

Accepting cookies is a prerequisite for using our websites. However, if you block the use of cookies, our website and service will only operate with limited functions.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small files stored on the user's data carrier, used for the user's browser to save certain settings and data for exchange with our system. There are two types of cookies, so-called session cookies, which are deleted when the user closes the browser, and temporary/permanent cookies, which are stored for longer periods or permanently on the user's data carrier. By storing these cookies, we are able to tailor our websites and our offerings to the user's preferences. This makes it easier for you to use the website, for example by storing certain user data so that you do not have to enter it each time.

What cookies does the Homeplants.eu shop use?

Most of the cookies we use are automatically deleted from your computer's hard drive when your browser session ends (so-called session cookies). In addition, we also use cookies stored on the hard drive of your computer. On your next visit, the website automatically recognises you and your preferred information and settings. Temporary and permanent cookies (retention period from 1 month to 10 years) are stored on the hard drive of the user's computer and are automatically deleted after a certain period of time. These cookies are used to make our offerings even more effective, secure and user-friendly. These cookies make it possible to present you with information tailored to your interests. The sole purpose of the cookies is to adapt our offer to your expectations in the best possible way and thus make it easier for you to navigate our website.

What data is stored in cookies?

Only pseudonymised data is stored in the cookies used by Global Flowers Ltd. When a cookie is activated, an identification number is assigned to the cookie without assigning personal data of the user to this identification number. The name, IP address or similar data of the user, enabling the cookie to be directly assigned to the user, is not stored in the cookie. On the basis of cookie technology, we only obtain pseudonymised information, for example, which pages of our shop the user has visited, which products he or she has viewed, etc.

Retargeting

Our websites make use of so-called retargeting technology. We use this technology to be able to offer users a more attractive online offer. It enables us to present users who have shown an interest in our shop and our products with relevant advertising on the websites of our partners. We are convinced that the display of personalised, interest-related advertising is generally more attractive to users than advertising that does not have such an individual link. The display of this advertising material on our partners' websites is based on cookie technology and analysis of the user's previous behaviour. This form of advertising is carried out completely anonymously.

When using our website, cookies are used to collect, save and use data on user behaviour. In addition, the user data contained in the cookies is stored after the end of the browser session and, for example, used during the next visit to the website.

How can I block cookies from being saved?

There are settings in your browser to accept the storing of cookies only if you have given your consent. In this way, you can block the storing of cookies in the future.

As a rule, you can find information on how to reject new and deactivate saved cookies in the menu bar of your browser via the help function.

4. Internet analysis

In order to continually optimise and improve our offering, we use so-called tracking technologies. We use Google Analytics for this purpose.

5. Google Analytics

This website uses the web statistics analysis tool Google Analytics 4 from Google Inc. (www.google.pl). Google Analytics uses methods to analyse your use of the website, for example, cookies, which are text files stored on your computer. The information generated in this way regarding your visit to this website is generally transferred to a Google server in the USA and saved there. If IP anonymisation is activated on this website, your IP address will be truncated by Google before being transmitted within Member States of the European Union or other signatory states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. The anonymised IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics is not combined with other Google data. The user can avoid the transmission of the data generated by the cookie relating to his/her use of the website (including the IP address) to Google and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following address: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=pl.

Alternatively, you can also click on this link to avoid future data storage by Google Analytics on this website. An opt-out cookie is then stored on the user's device. After deleting the cookies, click on the link again.

6. Retargeting and data collection by third parties for the purpose of banner advertising

As part of retargeting and banner advertising, we use third parties who use cookies on our website. These include the following companies:

7. Secure data transfer

Your personal data is transmitted by us in a secure manner using encryption. This also applies to the ordering process and customer login. We use the TLS (Transport Layer Security) or SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption system.

Furthermore, our websites and other systems are secured through ongoing technical and organisational measures against the loss, destruction, access, alteration or dissemination of user data by unauthorised persons.
