Is it high time to repot succulents such as Medicinal aloes? Compo's substrate for cacti and succulents is a hit! As well as being suitable for all species of cacti and succulents, it also contains a comprehensive dose of fertilising ingredients. Thanks to Temu, you don't need to apply fertilisers and cactus and succulent nutrients for the first two months after transplanting! The admixture of natural quartz sand fertilises the soil, creating perfect conditions for proper water distribution at the roots. In addition, it provides a stabilising function.
Substrate for cacti and succulents - how to use
Before you plan to repot your cacti, do not water them for about 5-7 days beforehand to allow the substrate to dry out. Provide yourself with a suitable pick or thick gloves. When repotting cacti or succulents, do not remove any residual soil from between the roots. This will not damage their delicate structure. Remove overgrown, damaged or rotten roots with scissors. Put the cactus in a safe place for approx. 4-5 days so that the cut areas dry out.
Fill the bottom of the pot (depending on the size of the plant) with a layer of Cactus and succulent soil from Compo Sana of a few centimetres. Put the plant in and cover with soil so that it is stabilised. Do not use additional fertilisers. Look out for the essential plant accessories that will make it easier for you to care for the frequently chosen plants for hotels and spas such as cacti and succulents.
