Substrate for citrus and tropical plants 10L - Compo
You probably won't find a better soil for your citrus among others. Citrus Lemon Lover and tropical plants, than Citrus Growing Medium Compo by Sana! It will be perfect for growing citrus plants at home and on the balcony. The right ingredients guarantee the best quality and optimum pH for citrus, slightly acidic.
The starter dose of fertilisers that last up to 2 months after planting eliminates the need to add fertilisers at planting. The soil mix also includes quartz sand for aeration and plant stability. The citrus soil also contains a root activator - a growth stimulator to increase yield.
The light and permeable substrate is further enriched with compost. It increases the biological activity of the soil. The compost fertiliser nourishes the micro- and macro-organisms necessary for the plants.
Citrus and tropical plant substrate - how to use
Shake off the root ball from the old, sterilised soil - gently, so as not to damage the roots. Pour a thin layer of soil conditioner such as expanded clay into a larger pot with drainage holes at the bottom. Place a thick layer of citrus and tropical plant soil on top of this, making a funnel-shaped hole in the centre. Sprinkle with the rest of the soil.
Into the substrate prepared in this way, insert the seedling. If the plant is not stable in the substrate, gently press it down with your fingers or tap the walls of the pot. In this way, the soil will slide inwards and compact.
Store the soil in a dry, cool and shaded room. Also ensure that the packaging is tightly sealed.
Specially for tropical plant lovers, we have prepared a trip to the botanical garden in the world - Barcelona!
